Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Braulio Lonzo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Txordon during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ovidio Txordon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Braulio Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Virgilio Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Huly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Virgilio Seguinus made a huge save. Cornelio Huly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Teodor hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Serafino Demario was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Virgilio Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Lonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 45 minutes, Roman Charro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Despeñaderos and the A.A. Argentinos Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Severino Jurdan made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to A.A. Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Braulio Lonzo hit a great ball. Ovidio Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Iban having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Despeñaderos got a freekick which was hit by Elias Salvidor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Lonzo in the 61st minute of play forced Despeñaderos's goalkeeper Virgilio Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severino Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Ovidio Txordon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Iban was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Braulio Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ovidio Txordon came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sergio Iban could save by the left post. In the 81st minute Braulio Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, A.A. Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Sergio Iban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Txordon. Ovidio Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sergio Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Salvidor's late challenge caught a A.A. Argentinos Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Salvidor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Despeñaderos's Elias Salvidor got a free kick in the 90th minute. Severino Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sergio Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
