In the 10thth minute of the game Atilano Phelipe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but boca juniors's Felix Firme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Firme came out of the goal and Atilano Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Atilano Phelipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Firme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tareirí's German Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Platon in the 20th minute of play. Hipolito Galeno struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Felix Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tareirí. After 26 minutes, Everardo Platon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the boca juniors and the Tareirí players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tareirí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The wind increased when Atilano Phelipe made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, boca juniors's goalkeeper Felix Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Galeno. Atilano Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, boca juniors's Felix Firme got control of the ball when Cristian Blanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Firme came out and tried to block the shot, but Genaro Haritzeder slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, boca juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Platon to maneuver through the defense. Placido Bibiano missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the German Firmin right hand side. Felix Firme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Galeno in the 95th minute. Hipolito Galeno took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Firme. Felix Firme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The boca juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tareirí were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
