An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Poz in the 3rd minute of play forced Candelarias AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Barbosa having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Bernabe Mateo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mazaruca's Eduardo Barbosa didn't even have to move. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Benito Telmo sped through Mazaruca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Barbosa. In the 24th match minute, Candelarias AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Frederico to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edgard Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Eustacio Salomon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelarias AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Manex, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Genaro Poz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Candelarias AFC's Edgard Manex tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Telmo made a kick off. Marciano Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Poz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Manex saved Candelarias AFC from getting behind. Hermengildo Rosario charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermengildo Rosario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hermengildo Rosario hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Eustacio Salomon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
