The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, XO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Telmo came free, but Feliberto Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Oliverios charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Oliverios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Benito Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Domiku having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Candelarias AFC's Eustacio Salomon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Domiku made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Candelarias AFC's Edgard Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Sidro in the 17th minute of play. After 21 played minutes XO FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Sidro. In the 22nd match minute, XO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gora to maneuver through the defense. XO FC's Feliberto Domiku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Telmo in the 26th minute of play. Feliberto Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Telmo in the 28th minute of play. Candelarias AFC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after XO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernabe Mateo took the corner. Bernabe Mateo made a great header on Candelarias AFC's corner, it was just that XO FC's Feliberto Domiku managed to reach the ball for a save. If Benito Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Danilo Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Manex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manuel Pero fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelarias AFC's protests and gave Manuel Pero a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Edgardo Peio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Edgard Manex when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Benito Telmo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of XO FC's Feliberto Domiku. Feliberto Domiku was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Ignacio Duardo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, one of XO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eustacio Salomon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 59th playminute. In the 66th minute, Candelarias AFC's Benito Telmo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Eustacio Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Domiku having to interfere. When Candelarias AFC's Benito Telmo in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Feliberto Domiku guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 85th minute, Edgardo Peio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Eustacio Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Feliberto Domiku made a huge save. Candelarias AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
