Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Berart started the match with the kick off. If Nicanor Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Nicanor Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Lain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fontezuela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FACTOTUMCHIN the free kick. In the 12th minute, Clodoveo Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abelardo Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Roman Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Mendebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Ezkerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Birjaio in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Nicanor Birjaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Ezkerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fontezuela FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Higinio Gotzon hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Fontezuela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Hartz to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes, FACTOTUMCHIN's Ceferino Enetz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Ezkerra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FACTOTUMCHIN reached it. Nicanor Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Roman Berart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fontezuela FC's zone, Nicanor Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Ezkerra came out of the goal and Nicanor Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Birjaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonides Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Hartz's late challenge caught a FACTOTUMCHIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Hartz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FACTOTUMCHIN booed when Fontezuela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Fontezuela FC's Paulo Ezkerra got control of the ball when Leonides Normando tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Fontezuela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Lain to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Paulo Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Berart in the 76th minute of play forced FACTOTUMCHIN's goalkeeper Abelardo Mendebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Fontezuela FC's Cristo Pitin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Mendebal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 minutes of play, FACTOTUMCHIN's Leonides Normando made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Ezkerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nicanor Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. FACTOTUMCHIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Ezkerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Mendebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Pitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over FACTOTUMCHIN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fontezuela FC throughout the match.
