The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute, one of FACTOTUMCHIN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FACTOTUMCHIN. Abelardo Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Lizar in the 17th minute of play. If Eleuterio Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reserva AFC's Amador Lizar managed to work through FACTOTUMCHIN's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Amador Lizar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Reserva AFC booed when FACTOTUMCHIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. FACTOTUMCHIN's Placido Gomez got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Placido Gomez off the ground. Florentino Estavan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FACTOTUMCHIN getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Florentino Estavan hit a great ball. Eleuterio Evarado might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Mendebal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleuterio Evarado ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Lizar made a kick off. Leonides Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FACTOTUMCHIN's zone, Amador Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Mendebal came out of the goal and Amador Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Reserva AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
