Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristo Florinio started the match with the kick off. Flavio Ibon charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Ibon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fiorito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ayres Urquiza a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Siro Montel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fiorito's Zeledon Rocendo. 1-0. When Faustino Venceslas came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Fiorito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Venceslas couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Cristo Florinio made a precise shot to the right of Victorino Bastiaro. Ayres Urquiza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Ayres Urquiza's Erubiel Obano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Rocendo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Faustino Venceslas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Ayres Urquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Cristo Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiorito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Florinio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Faustino Venceslas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ayres Urquiza's Victorino Bastiaro. Victorino Bastiaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristo Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Bastiaro having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Truylos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Adrio's late challenge caught a Ayres Urquiza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Adrio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fiorito getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Amadeo Adrio hit a great ball. Zeledon Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Obano, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ayres Urquiza's goalkeeper Victorino Bastiaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Venceslas. Nemesio Erdiano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 63 minutes into the game, one of Ayres Urquiza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristo Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Victorino Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Faustino Venceslas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiorito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Venceslas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute Cristo Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Bastiaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Ayres Urquiza's goalkeeper Victorino Bastiaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Venceslas. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiorito's goalkeeper Zeledon Rocendo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Obano in the 89th minute of play forced Fiorito's goalkeeper Zeledon Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erubiel Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fiorito's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
