Dario Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Aguirre in the 6th minute. Dario Romero made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Carmelo Gabrio sent off a good shot on target. Elias Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The Covunco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Carmelo Gabrio fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manzano FC's protests and gave Carmelo Gabrio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Covunco booed when Manzano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Artizar struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Elias Firman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covunco. Dario Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Benvido in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Covunco booed when Manzano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Agustin Benvido rounded Covunco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Celedonio Artizar took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Firman. Elias Firman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
The wind increased when Celedonio Artizar made the kick off in the second half. If Celedonio Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Artizar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Firman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, one of Manzano FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Aguirre in the 90th minute of play forced Covunco's goalkeeper Dario Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
