Ladislao Otoniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Weterio went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Anasagasti's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Weterio came free, but Ladislao Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Severiano Euloxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anasagasti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave los carlitos boys the free kick. Froilan Firmos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Candido Hanot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute Americo Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Firmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Candido Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, los carlitos boys's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Gau came free, but Candido Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Anasagasti's Froilan Firmo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Froilan Firmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Hanot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Mariano Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Candido Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Hanot having to interfere. Americo Gau took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Candido Hanot. Candido Hanot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Raimundo Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ladislao Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Froilan Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Abaunza in the 89th minute of play forced Anasagasti's goalkeeper Ladislao Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Anasagasti got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Loreto. If Froilan Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Anasagasti players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
