Froilan Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froilan Firmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Mikolas having to make a save. Anasagasti's Froilan Firmo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Armando Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Astrada hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Zeledon Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Froilan Firmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Firmo got free with Armando Mikolas in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Anasagasti's zone, Damian Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Otoniel came out of the goal and Damian Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Africans's Damian Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Mikolas made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Froilan Firmo sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Damian Martino made the kick off in the second half. Americo Gau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Froilan Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Martino's late challenge caught a Anasagasti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Martino helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Africans got a freekick which was hit by Damian Martino. Miguel Urtzi, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 60th minute Americo Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Africans's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Gau came free, but Armando Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Anasagasti's Ladislao Otoniel got control of the ball when Damian Martino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Froilan Firmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Armando Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Africans's Armando Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Firmo in the 76th minute of play. Armando Mikolas came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Anasagasti's Genaro Astrada. But to his dismay, Genaro Astrada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Amancio Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Africans's protests and gave Amancio Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. 88 minutes into the match, Africans's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Firmo came free, but Armando Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Firmo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Armando Mikolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anasagasti. When the referee ended the match the Anasagasti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
