After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Silvio Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misión's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Moise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Monico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Bartuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Monico having to interfere. Eustaquio Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Moise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Bartuelo in the 16th minute of play forced FLYING WHALES's goalkeeper Eustaquio Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Conrado Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misión's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Bartuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Misión was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Moise to maneuver through the defense. Eustaquio Monico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Bartuelo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Emenon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Lucian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Misión's Francisco Emenon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Misión from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Misión's Orlando Chorche got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Silvio Moise came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Misión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Moise couldn't finish the play. Eustaquio Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Silvio Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute Silvio Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Monico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Conrado Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eustaquio Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Moise in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Orlando Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Conrado Bartuelo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Misión fans jumped to their feet. Teobaldo Benvido charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Benvido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Misión getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Teobaldo Benvido hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, one of Misión:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Misión. The referee gave FLYING WHALES a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valentin Pepillo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Misión's Francisco Emenon. 1-1. Eustaquio Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Moise in the 95th minute of play. Silvio Moise's late challenge caught a FLYING WHALES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Moise helped the player get up and apologised. FLYING WHALES succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Misión had controlled the match.
