The supporters of Merced FC booed when THE FLIPPER AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Norberto Miro fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE FLIPPER AFC's protests and gave Norberto Miro a yellow card for diving instead. 35 minutes into the match, THE FLIPPER AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Artal came free, but Amado Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to THE FLIPPER AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Celedonio Quintana hit a great ball. Gualterio Artal struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Amado Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merced FC. THE FLIPPER AFC's Amado Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Domingues in the 44th minute of play. Robustiano Sedeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Anibal Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

One of THE FLIPPER AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Merced FC:s goal. In the 91st minute Merced FC were awarded a corner. Omar Abar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Omar Abar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but THE FLIPPER AFC's Amado Mundo did a great save. Merced FC's Gualterio Artal got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Celedonio Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute, Gualterio Artal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Mundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Merced FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than THE FLIPPER AFC.
