Delmiro Ebardo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Herrera's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Garaona came free, but Saturnino Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Herrera's zone, Elias Pacifico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Cebo came out of the goal and Elias Pacifico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Elias Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Pacifico in the 21st minute of play forced Herrera's goalkeeper Saturnino Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Pacifico to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Saturnino Cebo managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Motoque's Enrique Otsoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustavo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Otsoa got free with Saturnino Cebo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the game, Enrique Otsoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Saturnino Cebo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herrera's Saturnino Cebo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Herrera from getting a goal against them. Enrique Otsoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnino Cebo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Otsoa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 75 minutes, Delmiro Ebardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herrera and the Motoque players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Motoque booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Ebardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Enrique Otsoa made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Cebo. Herrera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Elias Pacifico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Cebo having to interfere. Valentin Burni's late challenge caught a Motoque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Burni helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Herrera got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Burni. When the final whistle sounded Motoque left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Herrera.
