Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Santos got the match started through his kick off. Lobos Azules's Elpidio Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Loi in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Santos in the 6th minute of play forced Lobos Azules's goalkeeper Elpidio Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emanuel Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Lano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lobos Azules's Leopoldo Jerrold got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Julian Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Unión:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lobos Azules:s goal. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Lobos Azules's Simon Primo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mateo Uhin. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 27th minute, when Lobos Azules's Simon Primo after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Mateo Uhin in Unión's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Mateo Uhin made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gilberto Charro sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Julian Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Lano. Lobos Azules's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lobos Azules's Gilberto Charro got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Charro had several of the Unión's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Mateo Uhin as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Asteri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Flavio Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lobos Azules booed when Unión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Muc didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gilberto Charro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. With a left leg Elpidio Lano saved Lobos Azules from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gilberto Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos Azules's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Charro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Uhin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th match minute, Lobos Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Theobald to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Loi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Lano having to make a save. Vicente Muc charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Muc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Unión got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Muc. After a rather tough play, Lobos Azules's Jeremias Bernal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Santos in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Lano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Muc kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos Azules's goalkeeper Elpidio Lano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elpidio Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mateo Uhin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unión's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
