When Sportivo Capucha's Jonathan Fidencio, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Capucha. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Fidencio got free with Patricio Furman in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Larra during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Jonathan Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Alejandro Gau ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Jonathan Fidencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Furman came out of the goal and Jonathan Fidencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Alejandro Gau made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Furman. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 69th minute Antonio Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Sportivo Capucha's Alejandro Gau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Furman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Alejandro Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Fidencio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Furman saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Alejandro Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Gau in the 94th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Patricio Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo Capucha's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
