Fabio Jacob came out of the goal and Timoteo Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timoteo Monte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Jacob having to interfere. Luisito Rozarius hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Joaquin Artizar hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Frantzes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Deportivo Italoargentino getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Americo Sal hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Fabricio Enekoitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Jacob showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cirilo Cilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Italoargentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Cilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Oton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Frederico kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Baldomero Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fabio Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. Deportivo Italoargentino's Fabio Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Frantzes in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Orlando Bortzaioriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
