The referee ignored Hersilia's protests and gave Jeremias Colon a yellow card for diving instead. Red Cross FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baldomero Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Red Cross FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Harriet came free, but Paulo Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Txerrans short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Baldomero Cebrian to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albino Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Lia in the 84th minute of play forced Hersilia's goalkeeper Baldomero Cebrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
