Serafin Rafe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Maximino Errando made a huge save. If Serafin Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, El lime FC's Aristides Rayman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Errando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Generoso Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edgardo Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El lime FC's protests and gave Edgardo Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, El lime FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Gervaso to maneuver through the defense. When Remigio Egun came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the ALEJO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Egun couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, El lime FC's Angelo Nuno got control of the ball when Generoso Vergaray tried to sneak it across the goal line. El lime FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
