Angelo Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Errapel in the 6th minute of the match. Angelo Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes Rancagua FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Iigo who took care of the corner kick. Domingo Clemencin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Angelo Gartxot, a very annoying self made goal in the 11th minute which led to 0-1. Tobias Iigo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Gartxot. Rancagua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Rancagua FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leandro Louis hit a great ball. Anibal Errapel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Gartxot having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Baumer in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximino Bakar succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Anibal Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Errapel struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Angelo Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for boca junior. 32 minutes into the game, Timoteo Javiero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rancagua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave boca junior the free kick. Angelo Gartxot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Errapel went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of boca junior booed when Rancagua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Gartxot having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Goren made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Mariano Goren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Jaizki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Gartxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Pedro Maidana charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Maidana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, boca junior's Tobias Iigo tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Rancagua FC's Angelo Gartxot got control of the ball when Anibal Errapel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, boca junior's Eusebio Rojelio got a free kick in the 86th minute. Rancagua FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Humberto Lehior in the 89th minute. Humberto Lehior made a great header on Rancagua FC's corner, it was just that boca junior's Jose Gartxot managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 91 minutes, Raul Jaizki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rancagua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Jaizki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Goren struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jose Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancagua FC. The boca junior players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
