In the 9thth minute of the game Edgardo Vincente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Tucuman's Camilo Jon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Ordono in the 10th minute of the match. If Aquiles Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Modesto Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Vincente took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Jon. Camilo Jon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Club Atletico Tucuman booed when Kladeç FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kladeç FC's Braulio Salvator proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Kladeç FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Vincente to make the kick off. Fermin Cresitobalo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes, Club Atletico Tucuman's Pablo Marin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braulio Salvator came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Kladeç FC's Braulio Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Lluterio in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Kladeç FC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Lluterio came free, but Braulio Salvator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kladeç FC's zone, Segundo Lluterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Salvator came out of the goal and Segundo Lluterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Ordono got free with Camilo Jon in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Tucuman's goalkeeper Camilo Jon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Ordono.
