Arnulfo Gotzon took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Rayman. Fidel Rayman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. German Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Louis in the 24th minute of play forced The Spirit - Alumni's goalkeeper Ignacio Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Leon Tohias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tumbaya's Fidel Rayman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Tumbaya from getting a goal against them. Leon Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Louis in the 34th minute of play forced The Spirit - Alumni's goalkeeper Ignacio Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ivan Txordon made the kick off in the second half. Leon Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Bernaldo having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Robustiano Gudesteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tumbaya's German Louis got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ignacio Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tumbaya's Felipe Tiniebra got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Tumbaya booed when The Spirit - Alumni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Rayman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Spirit - Alumni. When Ivan Txordon came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the The Spirit - Alumni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Txordon couldn't finish the play. Ciro Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Spirit - Alumni fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tumbaya had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
