In the 13th minute, Lorenzo Normando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herrera FC's Gervasio Soter got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Candido Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Normando in the 32nd minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Siro Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Soter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Siro Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Herrera FC's goalkeeper Candido Lluques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Hulberto.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Normando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gervasio Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herrera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Soter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ariel Macerio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Ariel Macerio a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Donzel having to interfere. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jimeno Ubarna hit a great ball. Siro Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Normando in the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ildefonso Hulberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Hulberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Lluques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Lamberto in the 72nd minute of play forced Herrera FC's goalkeeper Candido Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Ildefonso Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Lluques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Checa in the 75th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artemio Haimar during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
