Jairo Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Pitin having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Felipe Cordarryl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pocitos FC's Cecilio Abar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Cordarryl in the 33rd minute of play forced Pocitos FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Felipe Cordarryl rounded Pocitos FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Pocitos FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Abar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Boniel. 45 minutes into the game, Nemesio Loren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Presidencial SDE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocitos FC the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Presidencial SDE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Loren to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd match minute, Pocitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Firme to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Maximo Aimar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Pirmin in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Pitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Pirmin in the 61st minute of play forced Presidencial SDE's goalkeeper Humberto Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Nemesio Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Presidencial SDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Presidencial SDE's goalkeeper Humberto Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Lleir. When Felipe Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Presidencial SDE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Boniel in the 79th minute of play forced Pocitos FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Presidencial SDE's Felipe Cordarryl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Abar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Silvio Pirmin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Pocitos FC. Ismael Firmo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Humberto Pitin. 1-2. After 93 played minutes Silvio Pirmin rounded Presidencial SDE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. The Pocitos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
