Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Talleres Cba. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adolfo Vasco hit a great ball. If Carolo Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Eugenio Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Isadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Nahia in the 22nd minute of play. Dario Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Bernat having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Talleres Cba. got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Clemencin. After recieving a nice pass, Verna's Jonas Paul tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Carolo Terciero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melchor Isadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Verna getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ciro Mitxel hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Eugenio Nahia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 43rd minute Eugenio Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Isadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Clemencin's late challenge caught a Verna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Clemencin helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Talleres Cba. got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Clemencin. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Nahia made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Verna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Nahia to maneuver through the defense. Denis Gorri took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Bernat. Albano Bernat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Verna's Albano Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Gorri in the 61st minute of play. Denis Gorri might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Bernat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Gorri ran back to his position shaking his head. Eugenio Nahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carolo Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Isadore having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Gorri in the 83rd minute of play forced Verna's goalkeeper Albano Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Weterio in the 84th minute of the match. Denis Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Verna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
