In the 22nd minute Isidoro Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Barcelona's Anacleto Gaitano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Israel Salbatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Ederono hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Anier Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Banegas in the 44th minute of play. When Israel Salbatore came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Salbatore couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Banegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Ederono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Argi was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Barcelona defense, Eugenio Banegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Argi. Resistencia AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
