Israel Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atenas de Río Cuarto's zone, Ambrosio Truylos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Bordat came out of the goal and Ambrosio Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drogocop Futbol Club's Israel Perico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Oton in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Drogocop Futbol Club getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carolo Honrio hit a great ball. Benito Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Perico having to interfere. Domingos Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Drogocop Futbol Club booed when Atenas de Río Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Fernando Mikelats took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Leo Bordat to make any attempt to save it. After 25 played minutes Drogocop Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Truylos. Froilan Chabier struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Israel Perico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atenas de Río Cuarto. Domingos Garcia hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Octavio Osmundo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Osmundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Guido Oskarbi made a precise shot to the right of Israel Perico. Drogocop Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Benito Oton made the kick off in the second half. If Fernando Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Guido Oskarbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Drogocop Futbol Club's Ambrosio Truylos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 minutes of play Atenas de Río Cuarto's Domingos Garcia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Drogocop Futbol Club booed when Atenas de Río Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fernando Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Truylos in the 69th minute of play forced Atenas de Río Cuarto's goalkeeper Leo Bordat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Ambrosio Truylos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leo Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Atenas de Río Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Mikelats came free, but Leo Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
