Benedicto Guzman ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Amor hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Angelo Furman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonatan Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Anier Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salguero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Adrian Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anier Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lorenzo Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Nereo Giraldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lucas Maule charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Maule the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lorenzo Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Costante in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Salguero FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Niceto Veto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, A5 WG's Benedicto Guzman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Quiroga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonatan Costante was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Salguero FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Salguero FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
