When Eliseo Segio fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tambillos's protests and gave Eliseo Segio a yellow card for diving instead. Teodoro Heli walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Filiberto Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Tomi having to interfere.
