The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dalmacio Walme was a little too slow when Camilo Todor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 2-1. Centro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Mon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Diaz in the 94th minute of play. The Centro FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
