Dalmacio Walme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacachispa FC. Marcelo Diaz scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Abad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sacachispa FC's Arsenio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Matei in the 24th minute of play. Inocencio Modestio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Sacachispa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nicanor Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacachispa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Walme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes, Centro FC's Norberto Oliviero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arsenio Abad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Centro FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Modestio in the 57th minute of play forced Centro FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Inocencio Modestio came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Sacachispa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Modestio couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Inocencio Modestio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dalmacio Walme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute Nicanor Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Walme came out of the goal and Inocencio Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sacachispa FC's Arsenio Abad got control of the ball when Marcelo Diaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Centro FC's Nestor Matei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sacachispa FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Abad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 2-5 became the score in the 94th minute when Nestor Matei elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Sacachispa FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Centro FC to win.
