Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Paolo Rufio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Saladillo FC's Augusto Francis. Augusto Francis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Abel Noe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Asteri struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Abel Noe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saladillo FC. Lucio Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Abel Noe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Francis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Benat went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Virgilio Rioja's late challenge caught a Saladillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Rioja helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Albariño got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Rioja. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Asteri got free with Abel Noe in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Noe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisito Timo's late challenge caught a Saladillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Timo helped the player get up and apologised. Luisito Timo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Albariño's Abel Noe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Duarte in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomiro Benat in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Francis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Saladillo FC's Pablo Ferran got a free kick in the 39th minute. Baldomiro Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Francis having to interfere. Baldomiro Benat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Augusto Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Albariño were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Ricardo Asteri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abel Noe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Noe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Lucio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Noe having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Salvador Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saladillo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Mero in the 68th minute. Saladillo FC's Lino Mero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abel Noe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Baldomiro Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Paolo Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albariño's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Rufio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Francis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Luisito Timo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Saladillo FC's Pablo Ferran got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Saladillo FC's Ricardo Asteri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Noe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Albariño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. Lino Mero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Noe. Albariño's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ulises Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Virgilio Rioja sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Saladillo FC's Augusto Francis didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Baldomiro Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albariño's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Benat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Francis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Albariño supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Albariño would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
