Adolfo Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Moise having to interfere. Adolfo Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Coloso del Norte's Leo Benvide got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Chepe hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Benvide got free with Artemio Astrada in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Artemio Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Celestino Chago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artemio Astrada. The goal made the score 1-0. Celestino Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Celestino Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Chepe charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Chepe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidoro Chepe hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match El Coloso del Norte got a corner. Fortinero FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Senio ran over to the corner to take the kick.

After 53 played minutes El Coloso del Norte got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Ibañez. Christian Moise acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gerardo Cristofol. Christian Moise made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Cristofol in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Jose Fresco notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fortinero FC's Artemio Astrada. Artemio Astrada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lisandro Milio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artemio Astrada. Fortinero FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isidoro Hever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Christian Moise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Benvide in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Astrada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adolfo Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Fortinero FC's Adolfo Victoro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Moise. That made the score 2-1 after 77 minutes of play. Celestino Chago took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Astrada. Artemio Astrada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Leo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Coloso del Norte's Celestino Chago got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Miguel Sagrario fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortinero FC's protests and gave Miguel Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fortinero FC's Miguel Sagrario got a free kick in the 93rd minute. During the 95th minute of the match Isidoro Chepe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isidoro Chepe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 96th match minute, Fortinero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Chepe to maneuver through the defense. El Coloso del Norte were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Fortinero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrian Senio took the corner. El Coloso del Norte's Adrian Senio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artemio Astrada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. El Coloso del Norte's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
