The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silverio Corderun made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Clemente Primeiro sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Primeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute Luisito Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pirquita's Silverio Corderun got control of the ball when Clemente Primeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Silverio Corderun was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 26th minute Cipriano Salbatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Qwinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Eusebio Bixintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Natalio Qwinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pirquita getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Victoriano Mosen hit a great ball. Victorino Cordareo, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emilio Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Pirquita booed when La nueva 12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Burutzagi was the one to do the kick off. Romulo Rainerio kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Clemente Primeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Silverio Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Burutzagi took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Corderun. Silverio Corderun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Clemente Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Silverio Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, La nueva 12's Luisito Burutzagi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Corderun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Burutzagi in the 68th minute of play forced Pirquita's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La nueva 12's Natalio Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Salbatore in the 72nd minute of play. Silverio Corderun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Primeiro in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Burutzagi in the 77th minute of play forced Pirquita's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Natalio Qwinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirquita. If Emilio Furman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Pirquita's Florencio Ganix seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Florencio Ganix the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pirquita protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Florencio Ganix had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute, one of Pirquita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pirquita. Victorino Cordareo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Filiberto Umbruso might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silverio Corderun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiberto Umbruso ran back to his position shaking his head.
