Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moises Xacintu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th match minute, Montserrat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Roldan to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Santo Monico fired a really elegant long shot, but Moises Xacintu threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After some careless play in the Saladillo defense, Aaron Maraman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Javiar. The Saladillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Javiar should have stopped the shot. David Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aaron Maraman came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Montserrat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Maraman couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Javiar came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Montserrat's Aaron Maraman. But to his dismay, Aaron Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. David Lorenz took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moises Xacintu. Moises Xacintu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Maraman was the one to do the kick off. Aaron Maraman didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-3 via right post in the game's 52nd minute. Montserrat's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Moises Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Refugio in the 57th minute of play. Aaron Maraman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Israel Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Maraman came free, but Eleuterio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saladillo's Uriel Bautista got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Uriel Bautista off the ground. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Uriel Bautista got a free kick in the 81st minute. Edgardo Vitin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Javiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Edgardo Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Honrio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If David Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Aaron Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montserrat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Maraman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
