The tension between the Chovet AFC and the Jamrock FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laureano Ixaka hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chovet AFC's Gavino Gar got control of the ball when Ignacio Paz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute Silverio Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ignacio Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamrock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Paz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Gar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was beautiful to see Chovet AFC's Niceto Iraitz in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Albano Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Saverio Orkatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chovet AFC and the Jamrock FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Saverio Orkatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gavino Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chovet AFC's Laureano Ixaka got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Laureano Ixaka off the ground. In the 36th match minute, Chovet AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Ixaka to maneuver through the defense. If Silverio Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chovet AFC booed when Jamrock FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Albano Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chovet AFC and the Jamrock FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chovet AFC's Albano Lucian got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosme Bibiano made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ignacio Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamrock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Paz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Gar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Ignacio Paz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Gar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jamrock FC's Silverio Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Silverio Niguel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chovet AFC's Gavino Gar. Gavino Gar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavino Gar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Niguel in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Ignacio Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chovet AFC's zone, Silverio Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Gar came out of the goal and Silverio Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Ignacio Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Peruanton kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Niguel in the 74th minute of play forced Chovet AFC's goalkeeper Gavino Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Lucian struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Aquilino Nayely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chovet AFC. Chovet AFC's Saverio Orkatz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Karmel got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 82 minutes into the game, one of Jamrock FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Niceto Iraitz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 90 minutes, Ignacio Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamrock FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Paz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chovet AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jamrock FC.
