La Mentira's Cristian Carlomagno got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Multy Games Strike was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, one of La Mentira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Mentira. Oscar Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Guilabertus having to interfere. Zacarias Silvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Guilabertus having to make a save. If Zacarias Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st match minute, Multy Games Strike was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Ibañez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nicanor Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mentira's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Rojelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Aureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Carlomagno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Carlomagno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Carlomagno in the 71st minute of play. Oscar Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
