Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guampacha's Serafino Hegoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Jakobe could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Edelmiro Faron however easily saved by the left post. Juan Kauldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Arnaldo Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Kauldi having to interfere. Guampacha's Juan Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Turi in the 11th minute of play. Arnaldo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Turi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Juan Kauldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Arias in the 26th minute of play forced Guampacha's goalkeeper Juan Kauldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salto FC's Edelmiro Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Hegoi in the 34th minute of play. If David Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Kauldi having to interfere. Juan Kauldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Turi in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, David Turi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Kauldi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Turi was the one to do the kick off. Feliciano Quintyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Kauldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the game, Salto FC's Arnaldo Arias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Kauldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Serafino Hegoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Faron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafino Hegoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Salto FC's Edelmiro Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Hegoi in the 83rd minute of play. When Erubiel Lalla fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guampacha's protests and gave Erubiel Lalla a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guampacha's Erubiel Lalla got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Turi in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Kauldi saved Guampacha from getting behind. When Salto FC's David Turi in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guampacha's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Salto FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
