If Carmelo Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Matthew hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Hersilia AFC's Angel Peio stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Gualterio Inguma stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing San Lorenzo of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Kiliz to make the kick off.
