Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Javier Hustaz made the kick off which started today's match. Freddy Gonchan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shines's zone, Reynaldo Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Faro came out of the goal and Reynaldo Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute of the match Ivan Bikendi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Faro skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Mikelats in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Faro saved Shines from getting behind. If Reynaldo Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aristides Mikelats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Faro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the game, Faustino Merexildo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cano the free kick. Faustino Merexildo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Ivan Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cano getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Juan Felipillo hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Shines's Danilo Paio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 41 played minutes Shines got a freekick which was hit by Justo Guzman. When Justo Guzman got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Shines. In the 43rd minute, Justo Guzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes, Herminio Laurin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cano and the Shines players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cano's Herminio Laurin got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Javier Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Mikelats to make the kick off. Cano were furious when Constantino Orlandus was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Ioritz during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximo Lluques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Hustaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Hustaz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Lluques saved Cano from getting behind. Maximo Lluques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Guzman in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute Justo Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Lluques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shines's Justo Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shines had won after a very even match.
