A collision led to Pio X getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Maximino Argi hit a great ball. Bartolo Karmel struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Saul Jaunzuria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Piojera. If Edgard Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Karmel in the 17th minute of play. Pio X's Saul Jaunzuria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Urtungo in the 19th minute of play. Bartolo Karmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Playo having to interfere. After some careless play in the La Piojera defense, Edgard Rainerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Playo. The La Piojera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Playo should have stopped the shot. Pio X's Saul Jaunzuria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Karmel in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Pio X got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Argi. In the 35th minute Bartolo Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pio X's Edgard Rainerio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Edgard Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Bartolo Karmel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Jaunzuria. Pio X's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Karmel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bartolo Karmel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Saul Jaunzuria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maximino Argi took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Playo. Eugenio Playo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Mundo in the 71st minute of play forced La Piojera's goalkeeper Eugenio Playo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Playo having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, La Piojera's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Rainerio came free, but Eugenio Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pio X booed when La Piojera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Quintun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Shepherd hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Bartolo Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Piojera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Karmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Piojera were furious when Abelardo Xabat was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th minute, one of La Piojera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Piojera. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pio X had won after a very even match.
