Saul Jaunzuria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pio X's Saul Jaunzuria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Pio X from getting a goal against them. Jaime Pitin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Saul Jaunzuria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Imperium Fc's Gabriel Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Rainerio in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Herminio Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Pitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Jaunzuria having to interfere. Jaime Pitin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Saul Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Herminio Mundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperium Fc's Gabriel Afonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Imperium Fc defense, Herminio Mundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Afonso. The Imperium Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Afonso should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pitin got free with Saul Jaunzuria in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Saul Jaunzuria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Pio X's Baltasar Haimar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baltasar Haimar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pio X protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baltasar Haimar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Imperium Fc's zone, Maximino Argi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Afonso came out of the goal and Maximino Argi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, Benicio Gerazan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperium Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pio X the free kick. 57 minutes into the game, one of Imperium Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Pio X's Ariel Shepherd got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gabriel Afonso. In the 65th minute, Atilano Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Imperium Fc's Gabriel Afonso got control of the ball when Edgard Rainerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Edgard Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pio X's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Rainerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pitin in the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Rainerio got free with Gabriel Afonso in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Rainerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Afonso having to make a save. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperium Fc's goalkeeper Gabriel Afonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Imperium Fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
