Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldomiro Efren started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Araoz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Gartxot saved Nequen from getting behind. Edelmiro Vistruario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aquiles Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Baldomiro Efren put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Generoso Florin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Efren in the 11th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Generoso Florin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baldomiro Efren came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Nequen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Efren couldn't finish the play. Camilo Bero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Generoso Florin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Bero struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Generoso Florin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nequen. If Baldomiro Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Barros to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Rene Barros got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 46th minute, Edelmiro Vistruario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edelmiro Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Araoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nequen's Rene Caitano got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Araoz in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Teo Araoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 65th minute, Edelmiro Vistruario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nequen's Baldomiro Efren in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Efren notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Racing Club's Generoso Florin. Generoso Florin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
