Julian Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Errapel in the 8th minute of play. Erubiel Balasi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Niceto Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anselmo Ospetsu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Averías AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Ospetsu couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes, Averías AFC's Atilano Segio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prudencio Birjaio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Averías AFC reached it. Averías AFC's Julian Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Errapel in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Ospetsu in the 25th minute of play forced Abuela Gela's goalkeeper Prudencio Birjaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Niceto Errapel came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Abuela Gela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Errapel couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Abuela Gela defense, Marcelino Cugat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Birjaio. The Abuela Gela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Birjaio should have stopped the shot. Clodoveo Guilabertus kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Erubiel Balasi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Ospetsu was the one to do the kick off. Niceto Errapel scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute of the match Christian Refugio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Azevedo skillfully saved the ball.
