Come Gato's Zeledon Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Lluterio in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes, Juventud Quilmes's Raul Ixidor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Gorosti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventud Quilmes reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Manny in the 21st minute of play forced Come Gato's goalkeeper Zeledon Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Azibar's late challenge caught a Juventud Quilmes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Azibar helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the match, Come Gato's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Tono came free, but Zeledon Gorosti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Gorosti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Totakoxe in the 25th minute of the match. Zeledon Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Totakoxe in the 33rd minute of play. Baldomero Lluterio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Zeledon Gorosti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventud Quilmes. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulus Coeckelberghs was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Come Gato's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Tono came free, but Zeledon Gorosti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Juventud Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Paulus Coeckelberghs came free, but Cristian Ioritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Gorosti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Lluterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Come Gato's Zeledon Gorosti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Come Gato from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Come Gato's Ovidio Ermano got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Paulus Coeckelberghs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Ioritz was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Nunez Manny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Zeledon Gorosti made a huge save. After 93 played minutes Come Gato got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Vargas.
