After a defensive mix-up in EL MARISCAL's zone, Edelmiro Txeru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Mero came out of the goal and Edelmiro Txeru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, EL MARISCAL's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Bernaldo came free, but Aldo Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Mero came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Polvaredas's Romulo Chan. But to his dismay, Romulo Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 17 minutes, Baldomero Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL MARISCAL and the Polvaredas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomero Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Romulo Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvaredas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Edelmiro Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL MARISCAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polvaredas the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edelmiro Txeru in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Mero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Txeru struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Aldo Mero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polvaredas. Aldo Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Txeru in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Edelmiro Txeru made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, EL MARISCAL's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Txeru came free, but Aldo Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Polvaredas's Natalio Bernaldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Mero. That made the score 0-4 after 75 minutes of play. The supporters of Polvaredas booed when EL MARISCAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Romulo Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
