Maximo Estevez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Iruinea in the 22nd minute of the match. Patricio Porfiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Maximo Estevez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Empedrado booed when QUIEN TE CONOCE PAPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Duardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to QUIEN TE CONOCE PAPA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Donato Bartoli hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Mario Belarmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Porfiro in the 39th minute of the match. Fausto Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Teodoro Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Bertin was the one to do the kick off. Epifanio Montrell hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Mario Basajaun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Empedrado's Teodoro Otsoko didn't even have to move. Empedrado's Teodoro Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Joseph in the 56th minute of play. Hector Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Joseph in the 78th minute of play forced Empedrado's goalkeeper Teodoro Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Porfiro struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Maximo Estevez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empedrado. After 83 played minutes QUIEN TE CONOCE PAPA got a freekick which was hit by Donato Bartoli. Teodoro Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Otsoko having to interfere. Fernando Bertin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Estevez having to make a save. Severo Bras kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Empedrado's corner Rodrigo Bibiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximo Estevez quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Empedrado eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
