Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Bertin started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Fabricio Lando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empedrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrizales the free kick. Fernando Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Otsoko came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrizales's Roque Esquipula. But to his dismay, Roque Esquipula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fernando Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Chap having to interfere. Patricio Porfiro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hector Chap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empedrado. 21 minutes into the match, Empedrado's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Esquipula came free, but Teodoro Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carrizales's Roque Esquipula in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Empedrado's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th play minute Patricio Porfiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hector Chap. 2-1. If Patricio Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carrizales's Hector Chap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizales from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Empedrado booed when Carrizales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Fernando Bertin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrizales's Hector Chap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Empedrado's Teodoro Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Sazon in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Luis Sazon made the kick off in the second half. When Luis Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Carrizales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Sazon couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Montrell's late challenge caught a Carrizales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Epifanio Montrell helped the player get up and apologised. Empedrado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Luis Sazon scored to the left of an out of position Teodoro Otsoko, making the score, 2-2. In the 72nd minute, Fernando Bertin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Empedrado getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mario Belarmo hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Carrizales's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Bertin came free, but Hector Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Onofre charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Onofre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Carrizales's Urbano Onofre got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes Empedrado got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Bertin. In the 82nd minute of the match Rodrigo Bibiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Chap skillfully saved the ball. Patricio Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Carrizales getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Flavio Jakes hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Fernando Bertin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrizales's Hector Chap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Roque Esquipula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Otsoko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Patricio Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carrizales eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
