Tosno AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Narváez FC the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Narváez FC's Eustacio Raymond in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tosno AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Eustacio Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Normando in the 15th minute of play forced Narváez FC's goalkeeper Moises Tancredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Narváez FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ambrosio Demario hit a great ball. If Marco Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Tosno AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Brion came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Madalenos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Moises Tancredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th match minute, Narváez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Demario to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Tancredo having to interfere. Marco Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Moises Tancredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narváez FC's Moises Tancredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Madaleno in the 35th minute of play. Marco Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Tancredo having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Madaleno was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Narváez FC's goalkeeper Moises Tancredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Natalio Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes, Narváez FC's Marcelino Neto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Narváez FC reached it. Marco Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Moises Tancredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Raymond in the 68th minute of play forced Tosno AFC's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tosno AFC's Higinio Madaleno in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Higinio Madaleno put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Moises Tancredo. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marco Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tosno AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Normando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Tancredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marco Normando came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tosno AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Normando couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Tosno AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
