If Moises Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Luzaide charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Luzaide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Higinio Luzaide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Javier Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Domeka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Birila was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Calzada FC's Christian Handi got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Moises Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Calzada FC's zone, Anacleto Tibalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Elodio came out of the goal and Anacleto Tibalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, one of Calzada FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calzada FC. The referee gave Belgrano a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Honorio Olando, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calzada FC's Fabio Elodio. 0-3. Abel Llorenc hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Isaias Napier charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Calzada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 65 minutes into the game, Marcial Senin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calzada FC the free kick. Marcial Senin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Higinio Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Javier Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Anacleto Tibalt rounded Calzada FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Domeka in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Birila saved Belgrano from getting behind. The supporters of Calzada FC booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Inocente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Benigno Laffitte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Belgrano's Javier Birila didn't even have to move. 80 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Luzaide came free, but Javier Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Isaias Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgrano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benigno Laffitte was slow to take the kick. During this time Calzada FC's players had a chance to rest. After 86 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Senin. In the 87th minute, Adolfo Domeka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Birila was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Belgrano's Javier Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Domeka in the 95th minute of play. Belgrano's Moises Ipar got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belgrano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
