In the 4th minute, Eugenio Nataniel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Eustaquio Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Inguma charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Inguma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Leonardo Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tijuano getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eustaquio Urki hit a great ball. Eugenio Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eugenio Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Team de Mou's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Nataniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Madeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Leonardo Inguma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Madeo having to interfere. Jonatan Madeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Aurelio Maurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tijuano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Maurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Maurino to make the kick off. Leonardo Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonatan Madeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Eugenio Nataniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Nataniel in the 61st minute of play forced Tijuano's goalkeeper Eriberto Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Inguma was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 68 played minutes Tijuano got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Inguma. In the 74th minute Rosendo Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tijuano's Venancio Marko got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tijuano's Eriberto Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Tabby in the 76th minute of play. Aurelio Maurino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Tijuano getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aurelio Maurino hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Rosendo Tabby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venancio Marko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Madeo having to make a save. Aurelio Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Madeo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in El Team de Mou's zone, Aurelio Maurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Madeo came out of the goal and Aurelio Maurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Tijuano's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tijuano may have spent more time on the ball, but El Team de Mou were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
